It All Started With a Brick

To my friends, family, and future supporters!
I am sure most of you are wondering "Why is this chick writing about a brick?" I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but my blog is not about a brick, instead, it is about the adventures God gives me as I travel the world with no other goal other than to spread His truth!
I named this blog because this adventure honestly did start out with a brick being thrown at me. Ok, it wasn't a real brick, but when I was 13 years old I started to pray that God would throw a brick at me so that I would know what His will was. Shortly after I started praying this dangerous prayer, the first brick was thrown and God was telling me to surrender my life to Him through missions. I didn't have a doubt in my mind that God was telling me this. So I did. I told God that I would go anywhere He wanted me to go at any time in my life. Hence the name of my blog.
To catch everyone up on my life as an aspiring Missionary, I believe I have been called to go to East Asia sometime with in the next three years. I would (most likely) go in as a college student to study language, but to be honest I really don't know how that is all going to play out, but thankfully I have a few years to work everything out! I will be keeping you updated on my progress with going to East Asia.
For the time being I will be living in Peru! =D Surprise!! Most of you don't know this, but for the past year my parents have been looking into living in Peru as Missionaries. They have been approved to go by South American Mission organization (also called SAM) today.  Don't freak out yet! As of now, we won't be leaving until next summer; I will probably live with them for roughly a year. Until I figure out what God has next for me!
Here are a few things you can pray for:
*Clarity in what God's will is for my parents life and my own
*Strength and patients as we wait to go to Peru
*And for the people that we will be working with in Peru (Whom ever they are!)

Every now and then I will post something on here, but it won't be too much until I get on the Mission Field. God is giving me one wild and crazy ride and I'm loving every minute of it! I hope that you all will keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I go through the next steps in my life.
   STAY TOON!
Yours
